The Hong Kong Young Writers Awards 2017

The writing talents of our SJC boys have continued to blossom this year. We are overjoyed to announce that Joseph Wong (1E) has captured 1st Place at The Hong Kong Young Writers Awards 2017 (non-fiction). The writings of Sean Wong (3E) and Parco Li (5E) have also been selected as the short-listed entries.

The Hong Kong Young Writers Awards is the most renowned English writing competition in Hong Kong with entries from all prestigious local and international schools. In line with "Old Shanghai" as this year's theme, Joseph's writing has artfully depicted the evolving Shanghai epitomized by the oldest Jazz band in Peace Hotel. Congratulations to Joseph, Sean, and Parco for continuing SJC's elite literary culture!
