Chess Challenge Day (13_9_2018)

Dear all,

The LSIH Society and the Chess Club are proud to introduce the Chess Challenge Day on 13th September, 2018 (Thursday). We are pleased to have invited Mr. Daniel Lam King-wai, a distinguished old boy (Class of 1993) who was crowned as the Blitz Game World Champion at the World Amateur Chess Championship 2017 held in Spoleto, Italy.

This activity is constituted of two parts. First, Mr. Lam will conduct a Q&A session about his personal life and chess career. Then, Mr. Lam will compete with 20 players simultaneously, aiming at defeating all of his opponents within 45 minutes! Are you ready to face head -to -head with the World Champion?

Details of the activity

Date: 13th September, 2018 (Thursday)

Time: 2:00 to 4:00 pm

Venue: Old Hall, St. Joseph's College

Target Participants: Enthusiastic chess players

(Teachers, Parents, Students, Guests are all welcome)

Maximum Number of Participants: 20

We will distribute the application form to all classes on 10th September, 2018 (Monday)

Fees: Free of charge
