We are proud to announce that our student, Tang Ka Lam Jack (4F) represented St. Joseph’s College and Hong Kong at the 25th Vietnam International Mathematics Competition (VIMC) held in Vietnam from 14 to 19 August. The VIMC is a prestigious global competition that challenges high school students with intense individual mathematics contests, involving problem-solving and advanced calculus.
Thanks to Jack’s outstanding achievements in the regional rounds, he secured his place as one of Hong Kong’s representatives at this worldwide competition.
After months of dedicated preparation, Jack excelled in the demanding Individual Contest, earning a Bronze Medal. Notably, he achieved 2nd place in the Group Event contest tasks, showcasing exceptional skill and ingenuity.
This remarkable accomplishment highlights the excellence of our Math program and sets a high standard for future international competitions.
