We were delighted to officially welcome our new Form 1 students at the Opening Ceremony held on September 1st. The ceremony began with an address from our Principal, Mr. Kwok, who shared his valuable insights on energy security and renewable energy.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Brother Jeffrey, Principal, vice principals, teachers and all the supporting groups—including the 1st HKG Scout Troop, 1st HKG Air Scout Troop, Hong Kong Red Cross Youth Unit 17 and St. Joseph’s Ambulance Cadet Division—for their invaluable assistance in making this event a success.
A special highlight was the series of inspiring speeches delivered by our outstanding Josephians. We were honoured to hear from Li King Lam, one of the 2025 HKDSE top-scorers, alongside Enzo Sou (6D), Isaac Lee (3E) and Savio Tam (3E). They shared their experiences on the importance of camaraderie and brotherhood in achieving academic success.
We hope these words have given our newcomers an exciting preview of the vibrant and supportive community that awaits them. May this ceremony mark the beginning of a fantastic journey at SJC, where every student can discover their talents and strive to reach their fullest potential.
