Celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, the school held a solemn National Flag Raising Ceremony on the school day preceding National Day. The entire school community gathered to witness the raising of the Five-Starred Red Flag, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration.
Following the ceremony, Principal Mr T. M. Kwok delivered a Speech under the National Flag. He reflected on the significance of the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, highlighting the nation’s remarkable achievements in the economy, aerospace, and technology, and discussed Hong Kong’s strategic role in the Greater Bay Area. Mr Kwok also encouraged students to equip themselves with a broad worldview and the necessary knowledge to seize the opportunities of the new era. This speech served as a vital national education opportunity, connecting national milestones with students’ personal growth. It inspired them to take pride in their Chinese identity and to commit themselves to contributing to the prosperity of both Hong Kong and the Motherland.
