To ensure the highest standard of dignity and precision in school ceremonies, the School Flag Raising Team participated in an intensive Training Programme in September 2025, coached by officers from the Hong Kong Police Force. This collaboration provided students with expert mentorship on the proper protocols and etiquette required for handling the national flag.
The training focused on standard drill movements, team coordination, and the respectful treatment of national symbols. Under the professional guidance of the police officers, team members honed their discipline and leadership skills. This programme was not just about technical proficiency; it was a profound exercise in patriotic education. By learning to hoist the flag with reverence, students deepened their sense of national identity and pride. They emerged from the training not only as skilled flag raisers but as role models for their peers, demonstrating the values of commitment, respect, and national honour in every weekly national flag raising ceremony, as well as ceremonies held on key dates and important occasions.
