S1 Visit to Central Police Station

A series of educational visits to the Central Police Station were arranged for all Secondary 1 students on 22 September, 8 October and 5 November 2025. These visits offered a unique opportunity for newcomers to engage directly with law enforcement officers and gain a practical understanding of civic duties and safety early in their secondary school life.

During the visit, police officers shared essential knowledge on personal safety and scam prevention, equipping students with the skills to protect themselves in an increasingly complex digital world. A major highlight was the demonstration by the Police Dog Unit and a tour of various police facilities and vehicles. This experiential learning activity was designed to foster respect for the rule of law and enhance national security awareness. It complemented the S1 Citizenship, Economics, and Society (CES) curriculum by reinforcing concepts related to the rights and duties of residents. Through positive interaction with the police force, students cultivated a law-abiding mindset and a sense of responsibility towards maintaining a safe and orderly society in Hong Kong.

The students found the visits thoroughly enjoyable, and the experience was truly eye-opening. The interactive nature of the tour—from watching the disciplined manoeuvres of the police dogs to exploring the equipment used in daily operations—left a lasting impression on the young participants. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Hong Kong Police Force for their generous hospitality and meticulous organization. Their dedication to public education provided an invaluable learning experience, effectively empowering our students to become responsible, law-abiding citizens.
