To broaden students’ perspectives on national development, Dr. So Chi-ki, Thomas, BBS, MH, JP, Executive Director of the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association, delivered a talk titled “China’s Path of Innovation and Technology” to all Secondary 5 students on 28 November 2025. This session deepened students’ understanding of national strength. It provided a comprehensive overview of the technological milestones that define modern China, offering students a clearer picture of the country’s strategic direction.
Dr. So highlighted China’s rapid advancements in aerospace, 5G technology, and various other fields of applied innovation, illustrating how the strategy of “invigorating the country through science and education” has transformed the nation. The talk inspired students with data and stories of innovation, encouraging them to see themselves as future contributors to this progress. It connected their academic studies in STEM with the broader context of national rejuvenation, fostering national pride and motivating them to pursue excellence in their future fields to support the country’s modernization.
