II. Application

1. Distribution of Application Form
   • Students from St. Joseph’s Primary School
     Please follow instructions given by St. Joseph’s Primary School.
     
   • Students from other primary schools
     Starting from 22 November 2025, applicants may download the application form from our school website (DOWNLOAD) or obtain it in person from the School Office. 
     
2. Submission of Application Form
   Please submit your application in person to the School Office.  Applications sent by post, fax, or email will not be accepted.  For those who opt for submission through the SSPA e-Platform, please refer to EDB guidelines.
   
   Application Period :
   2 – 16 January 2026 (except Sundays and Public Holidays)
   
   Office Hours :
   Monday to Friday : 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
   Saturday : 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
   
   Documents Required :
   i. Photocopy of the applicant’s Hong Kong Identity Card*
   ii. The Education Bureau’s Application Form
   iii. The School’s Application Form
   iv. Photocopies of supporting documents, including school report cards for Primary 5 (whole year) and Primary 6 (first term)
   
   Please note that letters of recommendation from primary school teachers or the principal are NOT required.  Late applications will NOT be accepted.
   
   *Non-local applicants should extra enclose the following in applications:
   a) A copy of the approval from the Director of Immigration for the purpose of stay in Hong Kong.
   b) A copy of a valid travel document showing the permitted duration of stay in Hong Kong.
   
   

III. Interview

All applicants will be invited for an interview on 28 February 2026 (Saturday).

IV. Admission Criteria and Weightings
收生準則及比重

1. Excellent/good conduct is essential for selection.
   優秀或良好的操行不可或缺。
   
2. The overall admission criteria and weightings will be as follows:

b) Performance in the interview 面試表現	50%

IV. Release of Results

Parents of all successful applicants will be notified of their results for Discretionary Places on
31 March 2026 (Tuesday) by email and telephone. The allocation results will be released on 7 July 2026 (Tuesday) through Central Allocation.
