We are pleased to announce that our Alternate Supervisor, Mr Perrick King-bor Ching, has been appointed Supervisor of St. Joseph’s College (SJC) with effect from 1 September 2026.
Brother Jeffrey Chan joined SJC in the 2012/13 academic year and has served as our dedicated School Supervisor since 2014/15. Throughout his exemplary tenure, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the legacy of SJC and driving the School’s strategic development. His key contributions include offering invaluable advice and steadfast guidance to the School Principals, securing the landmark 26 Kennedy Road Campus, and overseeing the major School Redevelopment Project -Vision 22. Furthermore, Brother Jeffrey ensured robust school safety measures during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic and successfully launched SJC’s historic 150th Anniversary celebrations.
Alongside his strategic leadership, Brother Jeffrey has remained deeply devoted to the pastoral care of Josephians, hence teaching junior form students Religious Studies. Effective from 1 September 2026, Brother Jeffrey will embark on a new mission, having been appointed as the Supervisor of Chong Gene Hang College, one of the eight esteemed Lasallian schools in Hong Kong.
With the torch being passed to Mr Ching, we are confident that Mr Ching, who spent over half a century of time at SJC, will continue to lead St. Joseph’s College to greater heights for the best interest of our students at heart.
