Secondary 1 Admission Talk (2025 / 2026)
(Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. on 4 November 2024)

The Secondary One Admission Talk will be held at 11:00 a.m., details of the briefing session are listed as follows:


Date: 23 November 2024 (Saturday)

Time: First Session on 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 noon (Registration starting from 10:45 a.m.)
         Second Session on 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. (Registration starting from 1:45 p.m.)

Venue: New Hall, St. Joseph's College, 7 Kennedy Road, Central

Programmes: Speeches given by Supervisor, Principal and Vice Principals, Q&A Session, etc.

II. Application
1. Distribution of Application Form

i. Students from St. Joseph's Primary School
Please follow instructions given by St. Joseph's Primary School.

ii. Students from other primary schools
Starting from 25 November 2024, applicants may download the application form from our school website (DOWNLOAD) or obtain it in person from the School Office.


2. Submission of Application Form

Please submit your application to the School Office in person*. (By post is NOT allowed.)

Applications sent via post, fax or email will NOT be accepted. For those who opt for submission through the SSPA e-Platform, please refer to EDB guidelines.
Application Period : 2 - 16 January 2025 (except Sundays and Public Holidays)

Office Hours :
Monday to Friday : 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Saturday : 9:00 am - 12:00 noon

Documents Required :
i. Photocopy of the applicant's Hong Kong Identity Card*
ii. The Education Bureau's Application Form
iii. The School's Application Form
iv. Photocopies of supporting documents, including school report cards for Primary 5 (whole year) and Primary 6 (first term)

Please note that letters of recommendation from teachers/principal of primary school are NOT required.
Late applications will NOT be accepted.
*Non-local applicants should extra enclose the following in applications:
a) A copy of the approval from the Director of Immigration for the purpose of stay in Hong Kong.
b) A copy of a valid travel document showing the permitted duration of stay in Hong Kong.

III. Interview

All applicants will be invited for an interview on 1 March 2025 (Saturday).

V. Release of Results

Parents of all successful applicants will be notified of their results for Discretionary Places on 31 March 2025 (Monday) by email and telephone.
The allocation results will be released on 8 July 2025 (Tuesday) through Central Allocation.
